CDQ Obtains Multi-Million Dollar Judgment
In early 2015, CDQ attorneys Daniel G. Dowd and Daniel Durchslag, with co-counsel Michael Manning and Jeffrey Goulder from Stinson Leonard Street, litigated an aiding and abetting breach of fiduciary duty claim on behalf of their client in a bench trial before Judge Arthur Anderson that lasted nearly two months. This was the second trial in an action that has been pending nearly 14 years and has twice been to the Court of Appeals. On January 10, 2017, after months of prolific post-trial briefing, Judge Anderson awarded CDQ’s client over $67 million in compensatory damages and $4.5 million in attorneys’ fees on the aiding and abetting breach of fiduciary duty claim.
