Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals Affirms Victory For CDQ’s Client

On July 22, 2021, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals issued a published opinion affirming the District Court’s earlier dismissal of  civil rights claims brought against CDQ’s client.  The CDQ team, led by Ron Cohen, Dan Quigley and Betsy Lamm, who argued the appeal, tackled complex issues relating to the plaintiff’s claim of discrimination arising from his expulsion as a member of the Arizona House of Representatives.  The Court agreed with CDQ’s position that the plaintiff’s Section 1983 civil rights claim was properly dismissed.   Read the full opinion here.
