Superior Court Awards Judgment And Attorneys Fees’ to CDQ Client
On May 17, 2019, Arizona Superior Court Judge Daniel Martin entered final judgment granting summary judgment to CDQ’s client and awarding $238,000 in attorneys’ fees. The plaintiffs had alleged that CDQ’s client, a national homebuilder, had entered into an enforceable oral contract with the plaintiffs that obligated it to give the plaintiffs property valued at over $7 million. Judge Martin agreed with CDQ’s Dan Dowd, Dan Durchslag, and Rebecca van Doren that the plaintiffs had presented insufficient evidence to support any of their claims.
