REBECCA van DOREN joined CDQ in 1999.  Following law school, Rebecca served as law clerk to the Honorable Eddward Ballinger of the Maricopa County Superior Court and the Honorable E.G. Noyes of the Arizona Court of Appeals.  She has served a four-year term on the State Bar Committee on Examinations, and has served as a judge pro tem for the Maricopa County Superior Court.  In 2023, Rebecca retired from the full-time practice of law, but remains Of Counsel to the firm on a part-time basis, focusing on higher education litigation and appellate work, as well as, general commercial litigation.

Rebecca served as a volunteer judge pro tem, a position which helps to relieve the burden on Maricopa County Superior Court judges by taking on certain tasks such as conducting settlement conferences and serving as a discovery master.  Rebecca and her husband, Jason, have hosted multiple foreign exchange students, welcoming students from China, Brazil and Germany for year-long stays in their home.  Jason is also a volunteer for the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Animal Safe Haven.
