CDQ Attorneys Secure Dismissal of Title IX Lawsuit

CDQ Attorneys Dan Dowd and Rebecca van Doren have been defending a CDQ client against claims brought by a former student who contended he had been wrongfully expelled for sexual misconduct.  The student asserted claims under Title IX of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. §. 1983, as well as contract and tort claims arising under state law.  In May 2020, U..S.
