CDQ Defeats Multiple Claims Against Client in Arbitration
CDQ represented the defendant in an arbitration arising out of the purchase and sale of two multi-family residential properties. The defendant was sued for breach of contract, breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, negligent misrepresentation, consumer fraud and fraud. Neil Stuart, on behalf of the defendant, obtained partial summary judgment and then prevailed on all remaining claims at arbitration. The arbitrator determined the defendant to be the prevailing party and ordered the defendant to prepare an application for an award of fees and costs.
